Introduction
SPARK Taiwan is announcing the call for project proposals for the 2024 SPARK Asia Showcase, in partnership with BIO Asia-Taiwan (https://bioasiataiwan.com ). This event aims to provide exposure and highlight the academic research teams in the SPARK network, offering an excellent opportunity for teams to establish connections and showcase projects that are ready for partnering or venture funding.
The SPARK Asia Showcase will be held in-person, as part of the “BIO Asia-Taiwan International Conference & Exhibit 2024” event. The event aims to bring together bioindustry executives and investors from North America, Europe and Asia to explore business opportunities and to engage with Taiwan's emerging biotech sector. The five-day gathering includes a three-day conference featuring internationally-renowned speakers, company presentations from Asia and around the world, BIO One-on-One Partnering Meetings, a full program of focus symposia and workshops, and an international exhibition will be held on July 24-28, 2024, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
The SPARK Asia Showcase activities will include both presentations and poster displays. Selected teams for participation will have the opportunity to deliver presentations highlighting their projects, as well as showcase their work through posters, providing attendees with comprehensive insights into their innovative endeavors.

Who Can Apply:
All SPARK teams from around the world who have projects that would be at an appropriate stage to present at the 2024 SPARK Asia Showcase are welcome to submit their proposals. These projects should be：
* Late stage, ready for partnering (licensing) or venture funding
* Preferably focused on drug and medical device development

Any team interested in participating in this showcase, please download “Nonconfidential Asia SPARK Showcase Overview Template” file, fill the online registration form (https://survey.stpi.narl.org.tw/s/wewXq) ,and upload the filled file to the same website before the deadline.
